Golf enthusiasts rejoice when they learn that a membership in the U-Club can also include a Golf Club membership! Whether you want to get in a quick nine while the kids swim or gather your foursome for lunch and an afternoon of good times, the University Club is the place. With the Forest Akers Golf Membership at the University Club, members enjoy full golfing privileges at Forest Akers including:
· Unlimited use on both the East and West Forest Akers courses
· Unlimited use of the day lockers, showers, whirlpool, steam and dry saunas, and other
amenities in the luxurious U-Club Fitness Center locker rooms during regular Fitness
Center hours. (Private locker rental and laundry service are available for additional fees.)
· Unlimited use of the All-Weather Practice Center
· Unlimited use of the Short Game Facility
· Ten-day advance tee-time reservations (3 days in advance of non-members)
· Special guest privileges—your guests play with you at the MSU faculty/staff daily rate
when walking or playing 9 holes, and the Forest Akers 18-hole coupon rate when riding
· 20% discount on merchandise (excluding equipment & sale items) in both pro shops
· 10% discount on regularly scheduled Forest Akers golf classes and clinics
· 10% discount on cart rentals
· Complimentary handicap computation service
· The privilege of playing in the evening after the last scheduled tee time (no guests
allowed; carts not available)
· Billing privileges to your U-Club membership account
· An electronic golf newsletter and annual Golf Handbook & Directory of Members
· An invitation to participate in events sponsored by the Golf Committee, including golf
outings, leagues, social events, and the annual Club Championship Tournament
 The University Club's Adult Golf Program provides a full summer of recreational play, leagues, tournaments, and social events for Golf members. The U-Club Newsletter contains updates on golf events and golf members also receive details in a seasonal electronic Golf Newsletter.
