Fitness Center Hours

 
 

    Orientation, Evaluation & Fitness Planning
 


Every
new member is provided with a complimentary
orientation session with one of our Fitness Center staff.
Once you have completed the orientation, you're encouraged
to schedule a basic fitness assessment with one of our
certified personal trainers, at a nominal cost. This session will provide a baseline for beginning your exercise program, and a strategy for measuring progress and reaching your goals.

Once you have completed
your fitness planning, you
are invited to schedule an Introduction to the
Fitness Center. A knowledgeable
staff member will provide an orientation to use of all the equipment, including the
settings for each piece of equipment that are right
for you.
 
Program Design 
Your exercise time is most productive when guided by a
fitness program tailored to you and your specific goals.
Whether you want to lose weight or improve strength,
stamina, flexibility, or muscle tone, our trainers can
design a fun, easy-to-follow program using exercise
machines, free weights, exclusive FreeMotion trainers,
and cardiovascular equipment. Move at your own pace!
We can even round out your fitness plan by incorporating nutritional and weight management counseling to help you attain and maintain your goals.
 

Introduce a friend to fitness
with a U-Club Gift Certificate

Gift certificates for U-Club memberships, spa services or personal training make it easy to introduce a friend or family member   to your Club. Gift certificates for retail items may also be just what you're looking for for that person who is already a U-Club member. 
Gift certificates may be purchased
at the Fitness Center Front Desk.     
All purchases will be charged to your U-Club account.

Training for Health Conditions
If you suffer from an existing health condition such as arthritis, joint and back problems, osteoporosis, or balance and posture problems, you can benefit from specialized training. Your trainer will first assess your specific health issues, then design a progressive, functional and fun program that helps you improve your health.
    Sport-Specific Training
Athletes who want to achieve sport-specific goals, and weekend warriors seeking improved conditioning, can benefit greatly from our training services. Fitness Center experts will evaluate your current condition and suggest a customized program for developing the specific skills you desire.

                                                                   

 

Small Group Fitness Training

Finding it hard to muster up the motivation to train? It’s always easier with a friend. Sign up for the University Club’s small group personal training sessions. With all the benefits of our individual personal training sessions, you now also have someone to share in your experience, and help you keep going.


 

Nutritional Consultation

Work with an exercise physiologist to put
the "healthy" back in your diet. They can offer
informed suggestions on ways to improve your
dietary habits in keeping with the fitness goals
you've set.

Supplements & Vitamins

A wide selection of supplements is available
at our Fitness Center Front Desk Shop. Our exercise physiologists can answer any questions you might have on what products might be helpful toward meeting your goals.

We also offer an array of skin and hair care products, fitness apparel, and exercise accessories.
